Natasha Alynn Spradlin: My best friend

I was just thinking while eating my lunch , and I came to a thought . You may or may not know this , but my best friend , Natasha Spradlin also has a blog and while reading I , I was wondering , " Why in the world am I friends with this girl? " That may sound harsh , but let me back it up before you judge me . This is our story . Nearly two years ago , Tasha and I both entered Glen Este in the school of communications and technology as new students . She decided to put herself right in the middle of the room , surrounded by people that would hopefully accept her as one of their own , and I sat in the corner with two girls that I had met in the hallway prior to class . Neither of us had any clue that the other was a new student ,both nervous and anxious to make some new friends in this school . Two periods went by and we were sitting in Mrs. Dohrmann's English class , seperated by the slut of the school and that is when we became friends . In that class , we made it our personal mission to make the  quiet kid talk, to use our time to randomly say each others names in class , and to finally convince our teacher to allow us to sit together . Perhaps if we had more time , we could have suceeded in this but only three days later , Tasha decided to jump ship and go to Clermont Northeastern school . Ohh but dont think that ended our friendship , it certainly did not . We still hung out on the weekends and soon we became inseperable . Nobody would believe that we had only known each other less than a year . She was like the sister that I never knew I had . Almost two years later and our friendship is stull pretty awesome . To find out more about how my life came to be the way it is , and learn something along the way , stay tuned to my blog[:

Dont Change For Them

"We are fools whether we dance or not, so we may as well dance."-Albert Einstein
No matter who you are , where you live , how much money you make , or who you are seen with , there is going to be at least one person in the world who doesn't like you . If this is true , then why is it that some will sacrifice so much in order to be accepted member of society? A girl will spend hundreds of dollars on the hippest clothes or the cutest make up , she will change the way she acts in public , or the way she talks and she wont give it a second thought . She will completely alter her own being just so she will be liked , but still she will face judgment and taunting . Why have we as a people made this a normal thing ? When did it become such a bad thing to stand out in the crowd or to have your own ways of thinking ? I for one am not going to alter myself to make one group of people like me , because if I have to change , then it isn't really me that they are liking . It's a sick creation of society .
My name is Amber Noon and although I am a teenage girl , I have the mind of someone beyond my years . Some people may call me crazy , but I want to change the way people are thinking about some of the key aspects of our society and I'm using my words to do it . Join me as I face the ups and downs of life , let me give you something to think about at night . You won't regret it .
